Aerosol R134a Extractors

Cold, low-pressure botanical extraction

Our core technology. Liquefied R134a gas extracts at room temperature and low pressure, so the extract keeps the full aroma, colour and character of the plant, with no heat, no oxidation and no solvent residue.

The technology

Why R134a is the core method

Cold and clean R134a works at room temperature with no air exposure, so heat-sensitive aromatics are preserved and there is no oxidation during the run.
Low pressure, fire-safe The cycle runs at just 2 to 9 bar with a low-pressure recovery system, no high-pressure vessel and no fire hazard, so no special hazardous-location facility is required.
No residue The R134a is fully recovered and recycled in a closed loop, leaving under 0.1 g/kg residue, clean enough to use directly in food, drinks and cosmetics.

From the field

What operators tell us

We put the R134a extract next to our steam-distilled oil and the aroma is just closer to the fresh plant. That comparison is what sold us.

NKN. Kostov
Founder, fragrance house

Low pressure meant we did not need a rated room, which changed the whole budget. George's team laid that out honestly before we ordered.

Operations, extracts

It runs cold, recovers the gas, and the extract comes out clean. Two seasons in with no surprises and the support is there when we call.
