20L MAX HTE Fully Automated Aerosol Extraction System

A dual-vessel 20L MAX system that doubles throughput while keeping the same gentle, room-temperature, residue-free aerosol extraction for any botanical.

Description

The 20L MAX Aerosol Extraction System pairs two vessels on one platform to roughly double throughput without changing the gentle process. It captures the essential oils, aromatics and oleoresins from virtually any botanical, using inert R134a as the working solvent to extract at room temperature and low pressure, preserving the plant’s full natural profile with no thermal degradation and no solvent residue.

Double ThroughputTwo vessels on one frame for higher batch volume.

Low PressureOperates at just 2-12 bar for a safer, lower-cost process.

Room TemperatureRuns at 15-45 °C, protecting heat-sensitive compounds.

No ResidueClean, food-grade extracts, ready for direct use.

Fully AutomatedPLC touchscreen control of pressure, temperature and time.

Food-Grade 304 SSPolished stainless steel, with 316 available on request.

How it works

Gentle aerosol extraction, doubled

The small, non-polar and inert R134a molecule penetrates the plant tissue and thoroughly extracts the oil-soluble fractions at room temperature, with no thermal degradation and no loss of volatile compounds. Two vessels run in parallel, so you process larger batches in the same cycle while the complete aromatic profile is collected intact and easily separated from the solvent.

Because the process does not extract solids or chlorophyll, an additional winterization step is often unnecessary. Extracts are pH-neutral and well suited to pH-sensitive pharmaceutical and cosmetic applications, while the solvent’s low boiling point removes the need for slow, energy-intensive solvent recovery.

One system, countless botanicals

The 20L MAX extracts, refines and infuses an exceptionally broad range of plant material, from rose and lavender to citrus peel, ginger and culinary spices. The same gentle, room-temperature process can also infuse natural oils back into a base, or layer botanical aromas: add fresh ginger root for a warm, spicy note, citrus peel to lift limonene, or lavender to enrich linalool.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

It runs two 20 L vessels in parallel on one frame, roughly doubling batch capacity while using the same gentle, low-pressure process.

Inert, non-flammable R134a. It is non-toxic, non-explosive, and quickly recovered thanks to its low boiling point.

Essential oils, aromatics and oleoresins from virtually any botanical, including flowers, herbs, spices, seeds and citrus peel.

Room temperature (15-45 °C) and low pressure (up to 12 bar), preserving delicate, heat-sensitive compounds.

The two 20 L vessels together take up to about 6 kg (13 lb) of dry botanical material.

220 V, 4 kW via a 4-way 50 A outlet. The footprint is 1600 × 1400 × 900 mm at roughly 500 kg.
