Insights on low-pressure botanical extraction

150L Fully Automated Compound Remediation System

A production-scale system that refines large lots of botanical extract to a fixed specification at room temperature, with no thermal damage to the active profile.

Description

The 150L Compound Remediation System is a full production platform for refining large lots of botanical extract to a fixed specification. It selectively removes unwanted constituents – off-notes, pigments, waxes, moisture and trace solvents – at room temperature and low pressure, correcting big batches without heat damage and keeping the target aromatics and actives intact. It is built for continuous, repeatable output on a production floor.

Process

How remediation works, step by step

1. LoadCharge production-sized lots into the 150 L process vessel.

2. DissolveR134a selectively dissolves the fractions to keep, at low pressure.

3. SeparateTargeted impurities are continuously partitioned and drawn off.

4. RecoverRefined extract is collected and solvent is recovered for reuse.

How it works

Consistent refinement at production volume

At production scale the 150L system refines large volumes of extract in a single controlled cycle. Low-pressure R134a selectively dissolves and carries the desired fractions while targeted impurities are removed, bringing each lot to a consistent, defined specification.

The room-temperature process protects volatile aromatics and active strength even at high throughput, and the automated PLC cycle keeps large runs repeatable and documented. Efficient solvent recovery and a 380 V three-phase supply keep a busy production line running economically.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Production-scale lots of roughly 21 kg of extract per batch, refined to a consistent specification.

No. The room-temperature, low-pressure process treats large lots without thermal degradation, keeping the aromatic and active profile intact.

380 V three-phase, 12 kW, hardwired. The footprint is 2300 × 1600 × 1200 mm at roughly 1400 kg.

Off-notes, pigments, waxes and lipids, residual moisture and trace solvents, set by the remediation method.

Inert, non-flammable R134a, recovered quickly thanks to its low boiling point.

Yes. The solvent is non-flammable, non-explosive and non-toxic, and pressure transducers shut the system down automatically to prevent over-pressurization.
